Ethernet and the Internet Protocols

The iNetGrow system uses Ethernet and Internet protocols.  This allows any computer on the local area network (LAN) or on the Internet (anywhere in the world) to interact with the “Apopka” controller.

User Interface

The user interface to the controller is through a PC.  PCs are the most cost-effective interface devices, since they allow a graphical and user-friendly interaction.  Since the interface is through Internet protocols, physical distance to the controller is immaterial.

Web Services

The Internet protocols allow accessing the controllers through a web interface.  You may use a web browser to interact with the controllers.  Again, since the physical distances are irrelevant as long as you are on the Internet, you may control your system from afar.

Web-Enabled Devices

There are many web-enabled communications devices besides the PC.  Most modern cell phones allow you to access the Internet, or at least receive e-mail messages.  Similarly, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and pocket PCs provide convenient means to communicate over the Internet.
